2020 NSHDA’s Coach Lebda’s “Defense Academy”

NSHDA is excited to announce coach Lebda will be conducting two specialized defensive training camps this summer.  The defensive development camps will focus on the defensive skills, fundamentals and in game concepts.

Camp Focus:

• Specific “D” skating techniques forward and backward
• Mobility, Balance, Agility & Lateral Movement
• Puck Skills - escape moves, stick handling, using the net
• Shooting - blue line walks, opening hips, one-timers, slap/snap 
• 1-1 skill development, Net Front play
• Defensive and Offensive support tactics
• Gap Control and Checking Angles

NSHDA and coach Lebda are very excited to work with developing defensive players of all ages this summer.  Coach Lebda will share his defensive knowledge of the game that helped him play in the NHL for 400 games and win a Stanley Cup with the Detroit Redwings in 2008!
