NSHDA is excited to announce coach Lebda will be conducting a specialized defensive training camp this holiday season. The defensive development camp will focus on the defensive skills, fundamentals and in game concepts.
Camp Focus:
Specific “D” skating techniques forward and backward
Mobility, Balance, Agility & Lateral Movement
Puck Skills - escape moves, stick handling, using the net
Shooting - blue line walks, opening hips, one-timers, slap/snap
1-1 skill development, Net Front play
Defensive and Offensive support tactics
Gap Control and Checking Angles
NSHDA and coach Lebda are very excited to work with developing defensive players of all ages. Coach Lebda will share his defensive knowledge of the game that helped him play in the NHL for 400 games and win a Stanley Cup with the Detroit Redwings in 2008!
